Dear friends, we are excited to announce that beginning January 1, Hecho a Mano and Hecho Gallery will be merging under one roof at 129 W Palace Ave under one name: Hecho a Mano. It is bittersweet to be letting go of the space that birthed us, and allowed us to thrive (our Little Hecho), but while this move is one that is not our choice, it has become the way forward. For many, many reasons, consolidating all of our energy into one location will help us thrive even more.
Julie Shelton Snyder is a printmaker and painter based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Julie views her studio practice as an integral part of her spiritual practice as a contemplative Christian. Through art making, she attempts to express spiritual truths she cannot otherwise articulate. She considers abstraction the best means for this expression.
Taos based artist, Luis M Garcia has been creating and honing his craft for the last 15 years, working on one of a kind studio jewelry and carvings for relief prints with equal passion. His inspiration comes from his surroundings, the landscape, amazing daily sunsets and the animals that call northern New Mexico their home.
